Warrant Squad assisted by MPD to Arrest First Degree Burglary Suspect


Upper Marlboro, MD… The Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Simone Harrison yesterday on a First Degree Burglary warrant obtained on January 4, 2012 by Prince George’s County Police (PGPD) District I detectives.

According to the warrant, on November 16, 2011 Harrison is alleged to have forcibly entered an ex- boyfriend’s residence in the 4000 block of Warner Avenue in Landover Hills where she destroyed and took property.



Efforts to locate Harrison led Deputies to the 5400 block of Connecticut Avenue NW in Washington, D.C.  With assistance of the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), MPD and Sheriff’s Deputies went to the location and arrested Harrison without incident. She was transported to the D.C. Central Detention Facility where she was charged as a Fugitive from Prince George’s County. District I detectives were notified of the arrest.


In addition to First Degree Burglary, Harrison is also charged with, third and fourth degree burglary, theft less than $1,000 and malicious destruction of property valued in excess of $500.00.
