Sheriff’s Deputies Arrest Felony Burglary Suspect

Upper Marlboro, MD…  The Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest Friday of Evan Adams on an arrest warrant for Second Degree Burglary, obtained by County Police District II detectives on August 8, 2012, for an incident that occurred in February of 2006.

According to the warrant, in February of 2006 Adams burglarized a bowling alley in the 15000 block of Annapolis Rd. in Bowie, MD, causing $2,300.00 worth of damages. The warrant further advises that DNA was recovered from the scene of the burglary, and in May of 2012, it was determined to be a match with the DNA of Adams.

Deputies investigating Adams’s whereabouts were led to the 12400 block of Shawmont Ln., Bowie, MD, where he was located and apprehended without incident.

District II detectives were notified of the arrest, and Adams was transported to the Prince George’s County Detention Center – charged with Second Degree Burglary and Malicious Destruction of Property.
