Two Arrested on Kidnapping and Burglary Warrants

Upper Marlboro, MD…  The Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrests yesterday of Brandon Lee and Terrace Buckman Jr. on arrest warrants for Kidnapping and Burglary, respectively, that were obtained by County Police District V detectives.

According to the Kidnapping warrant obtained by police on August 31, 2012, Lee and Buckman approached a male victim in the 10700 block of Bickford Ave, Clinton, MD, on August 29, 2012, when they were driving by in a blue vehicle. Lee allegedly exited the vehicle, grabbed the victim from behind, and forced him into the backseat of the vehicle.

The warrant further states that the victim observed Buckman reach down to retrieve a handgun, prompting him (the victim) to jump out of the moving vehicle, and run away from the area.

According to the Burglary warrant obtained by police on July 17, 2012, Buckman unlawfully entered the residence of a male victim in the 6800 block of Groveton Dr, Clinton, MD, on May 4, 2012. While in the residence, Buckman allegedly stole $12,400.00 worth of property.

Deputies investigating the whereabouts of Lee and Buckman were led to the 6100 block of Addison Rd, Seat Pleasant, MD, where they were both located and arrested without incident.

District V detectives were notified of the arrests and both suspects were transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections. Lee and Buckman are both charged with Kidnapping, First Degree Assault, and Use of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony. Additionally, Buckman is also charged with First Degree Burglary and Felony Theft.
