Deputies Arrest First Degree Burglary Suspect

Upper Marlboro, MD… The Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest yesterday of Delonta Walker, on an arrest warrant for multiple counts of First Degree Burglary obtained by Prince George’s County Police Department on February 19, 2013

According to the warrant, on February 13, 2013, Walker and another male passenger were arrested in a stolen vehicle from Fairfax, VA., while the driver and the front seat passenger fled after being stopped in the 6900 block of Cherryfield Road in Ft. Washington, MD. The warrant goes on to say that a search of the vehicle indicated that it contained assorted stolen items identified as having been taken during Breaking and Entering incidents in Prince George’s County. 

Deputies investigating his whereabouts were led to the 6900 block of Cherryfield Rd. in Ft. Washington, MD, where he was apprehended without incident. Walker was arrested and turned over to the charging detective in Police District IV. 

Walker is charged with two counts of First Degree Burglary, two counts of Conspiracy to commit First Degree Burglary, two counts of Theft: over $1,000 to under $10,000, Theft-Scheme: over $1,000 to under $10,000, Two counts of Fourth Degree Burglary and Two Counts of Malicious Destruction of Property over $500.
