Sheriff’s Deputies Arrest Felony Burglary Suspect

Upper Marlboro, MD… The Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest Monday of Jose Rodriguez on an arrest warrant for First Degree Burglary obtained by City of New Carrolton Police Department (CNCPD) Detectives on January 17, 2013.

According to the warrant, Rodriguez broke into a residence in the 7900 block of Legation Rd, in New Carrolton, MD, on January 4, 2013. Rodriguez allegedly used a knife to break a window, entered the residence and stole a television and Xbox gaming system. The total amount of damage to the residence is $100.00 and the value of the stolen items is approximately $710.00.

Deputies investigating Rodriguez’ whereabouts were led to a residence in the 4200 block of Oxford Dr, in Suitland, MD, where he was located and arrested without incident.

CNCPD officers were notified of Rodriguez’ arrest and he was transported to the Prince George’s County Detention Center – charged with First Degree Burglary, Misdemeanor Theft and Malicious Destruction of Property.
