Deputies Close 6 Warrants With Arrest Felony Theft Suspect

Upper Marlboro, MD… The Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest Wednesday of Marcus Robinson on an arrest warrant for Felony Theft, obtained by County Police District II detectives on March 27, 2013.

According to the warrant, Robinson broke into a vehicle in the 7200 block of Donnell Pl. in District Heights, MD, on March 19, 2013, and stole a black Glock 29 handgun and its case, four Glock magazines, four 10 millimeter handgun rounds and a black duffle bag. The damage to the vehicle totaled $500.00 and the stolen items had a value of $1,005.00.

Deputies investigating Robinson’s whereabouts were led to the Forestville, MD, area where they conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle he was operating and took him into custody without incident.

District II detectives were notified of Robinson’s arrest and he was transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections – charged with Felony Theft, Rogue and Vagabond and Malicious Destruction of Property. 5 additional warrants were closed with Robinson’s arrest
