Warrant Deputies / U.S. Marshals Arrest North Carolina Rape Suspect

Upper Marlboro, MD… The Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest Thursday of Roger David Zelaya Rubio, on an arrest warrant for Statutory Rape reported issued by the Onslow County, NC Courts on March 4, 2013.

 

Requesting assistance from the U.S. Marshals Warrant Task Force in Maryland, the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office said that Onslow County court documents indicated that Rubio engaged in sexual intercourse with a minor between the dates of November 18, 2012 and November 19, 2012.

On March 28, 2013, Deputies assigned to the warrant task force deployed to the 3500 block of Parkway Terr. in Suitland, MD, where they conducted surveillance on a residence where they believed Zelaya Rubio to be residing. Members of the task force subsequently located and apprehended Zelaya Rubio without incident.

The Onslow County Sheriff’s Office was notified on Zelaya Rubio’s arrest and he was transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections – charged as a Fugitive from Onslow County, North Carolina.
