PGSO to host 2013 "Deputies Assisting Youth (D.A.Y.) Corps Summer Program"


 Members of the  Community Partnerships Section are gearing up to host the 2nd annual Deputies Assisting Youth Corps Summer Program for middle school aged students within Prince George's County. 

The D.A.Y. Corps program is designed to enrich the lives of our youth by educating them on topics such as etiquette, bullying, gangs, substance abuse and many more. 

Deputies and community partners will provide life enrichment skills through small interactive groups, encourage students to gain the confidence needed for vital transitional periods in life, stay active and healthy while making new friends with similar interests    

Applicants must have completed the 6th grade but not yet entered the 9th grade.
