Deputies Arrest Robbery Suspect

Upper Marlboro, MD… The Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Purvis Grant Rollins of Fort Washington, MD on an arrest warrant for Robbery obtained by the County Police Department on February 24, 2014.

According to the warrant, on February 23, 2013, Rollins allegedly threatened to shoot a male victim in the 3600 block of Waynewood Road Fort Washington, MD. The warrant states that the altercation began when a the victim, whom Rollins knew, came to Rollins’ home to pick up a car that the victim had left there but which was owned by a friend of the victim’s.  Rollins is alleged to have brandished a handgun at the victim, telling him that he would shoot him if he didn’t turn over the keys to the vehicle. The victim surrendered the keys and left.

On receipt of the warrant, the Warrant / Fugitive Division located and apprehended Rollins on the 3600 block of Waynewood Road. Fort Washington, MD. He was transported to Upper Marlboro Department of Corrections for processing.
