Sheriff Deputies Arrest Assault Suspect


Upper Marlboro, MD… The Sheriff’s Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Timothy Robinson of Hyattsville, MD on an arrest warrant for First Degree Assault. The warrant was obtained by Prince George's Sheriff’s Office Deputies on April 7, 2014.

According to the warrant, on April 6, 2014 Robinson allegedly assaulted a female victim, with whom he was romantically involved, by punching her in the head after breaking into her apartment in the 7400 block of Village Green Terrace in Hyattsville, MD. The warrant further states that Robinson became upset with the victim after she told him to leave her apartment. Robinson is also alleged to have punched a minor child when the child attempted to render aid to his mother.

Robinson was located and apprehended at Prince George’s Hospital in Cheverly, MD where he was being treated for self-inflected wounds he sustained while breaking into the victims residence. He was also charged with Assault Second Degree, Child Abuse Second Degree, Theft: Less $1,000.00, and two counts of Malicious Destruction of Property.
