Sheriff Deputies Arrest Assault Suspect

Upper Marlboro, MD… The Sheriff’s Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Tommie Miller of Laurel, MD on May 9, 2014, for an arrest warrant for First Degree Assault. The warrant was obtained by the County Police Department on April 25, 2014.

According to the warrant, on January 5, 2014, a male went to visit an ex-girlfriend in the 9300 block of Cherry Hill Road in College Park, MD. When he arrived, Miller, who, according to the warrant is also an ex-boyfriend, answered the resident’s door and allegedly attacked the male visitor, striking him over the head with an unknown object.  Miller also allegedly took the victim’s cell phone when he tried to use it to call the police.  

Sheriff’s Warrant investigators learned that Miller was in Anne Arundel County, MD. He was apprehended in the 3500 block of Old Annapolis Road in Laurel, MD.

Miller was transported to the Department of Corrections and is also charged with Armed Robbery, Assault 2nd Degree, Robbery, and Theft Less Than $1,000 Value.
