Warrant/Fugitive Division Felony Arrest Report #PGSO


Upper Marlboro, MD…The Sheriff’s Office Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the following felony arrests:

  First Degree Assault Suspect Arrested
 
Sheriff’s deputies arrested Agustin Lima-Huerto of Hyattsville, MD, on an arrest warrant for First Degree Assault obtained by the County Police on March 15, 2016.
 


According to the warrant, on March 8th, an individual was driving his vehicle down 68th place in Hyattsville, MD when he was cut off by a second vehicle causing both vehicles to stop in the roadway. The warrant indicates that Lima-Huerto exited his vehicle holding a jack handle and approached the other vehicle. When the driver of the other vehicle got out of his car, Lima-Huerto allegedly struck him several times in the head and arms causing him to lose consciousness, after which Lima-Huerto fled the scene. Emergency personnel responded and transported the victim to the hospital where he received treatment for his injuries and identified Lima-Huerto as his assailant.
 
Upon receipt of the warrant, on March 16, deputies’ investigation determined that Lima-Huerto was staying at a residence in the 4000 block of Warner Ave in Hyattsville, MD. Deputies went to the residence and left contact information for Lima-Huerto who was not at the residence. Deputies were later contacted on Lima-Huerto’s behalf to arrange for him to turn himself in to deputies at the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections.  
 
Lima-Huerto is also charged with Second Degree Assault and Reckless Endangerment.
 
Robbery Suspect Arrested

 Sheriff’s deputies arrested Timothy Harris of Bladensburg, MD on an arrest warrant for Robbery that was issued by the County Police on February 9, 2015.
The warrant states that on August 2, 2015 in the 5400 block of Hamilton Street in Riverdale, MD, an individual was attempting to park his car in an open space when Harris is alleged to have reached inside the vehicle and punched the man several times. According to the warrant Harris also grabbed the victim’s cell phone; when the victim attempted to retreive the phone Harris punched him again before fleeing.
Upon receipt of the warrant deputies determined that Harris resided at an address on 58th Avenue in Bladensburg, MD. Deputies did not locate Harris at the address but were able to contact him by phone, urging him to turn himself in. Harris did so and was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections.
Harris is also charged with Second Degree Assault and Theft less than $1,000.
