Warrant/Fugitive Division Felony Arrest Report #PGSO

Upper Marlboro, MD…The Sheriff’s Office Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the following felony arrests:

Attempted Second Degree Murder Suspect Arrested

Sheriff’s deputies arrested Anyas Liverpool of Upper Marlboro, MD on a warrant for Attempted Second Degree Murder that was obtained by the County Police on September 8, 2016.

According to the warrant, on September 1, 2016, in the 9000 block of Livingston Road in Fort Washington, MD, Liverpool and another female arranged to meet to settle a dispute between them by fighting in a parking lot. At the meeting, Liverpool is alleged to have exited her vehicle and approached the other female aggressively. A fight began during which Liverpool is alleged to have pulled a knife and stabbed the other female in the stomach. Liverpool fled the scene.

On October 27, 2016, Sheriff Deputies’ received information about Liverpool’s whereabouts. She was located in the 1000 block of Palmer Road in Fort Washington, MD where she was taken in to custody without incident.

Liverpool is also charged with First and Second Degree Assault, Dangerous Weapon Intent to Injure, Firearm Use/ Felony Violent Crime, Reckless Endangerment and Handgun on Person.

First Degree Assault Suspect Arrested

Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Saunte Sutton of Landover, MD on an arrest warrant for First Degree Assault that was obtained by the County Police on October 19, 2016.

The warrant states that on October 18, 2016 in the 500 block of Garrett A. Morgan Blvd in Landover Md., three females were approached while getting into their vehicle. As they closed the vehicle door, Sutton allegedly approached the vehicle and began to bang on the window with a handgun, after which she pointed the handgun at the victims as they drove off. As they drove away, Sutton is alleged to have stood in the street with the handgun pointed at their vehicle. According to the warrant, Sutton was upset over a domestic matter.

Upon receiving the warrant, on October 19, 2016, Deputies located Sutton at the Garrett A. Morgan Blvd. address where she was taken into custody without incident and transported to Prince George’s County Police Department.

Sutton is also charged with Second Degree Assault, Arson/ Threat and Firearm Use/ Felony Violent Crime.
