Child Support Enforcement Arrest: Over $187,000 dollars in Non-Payment of Child Support

Upper Marlboro, MD…The Sheriff’s Office Child Support Enforcement Division reported that Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a 50 year old resident of Bladensburg, MD for Contempt: Non-Payment of Child Support on April 7^th, 2017.

A Prince George’s County Circuit Court Judge issued the Writ for the father who had child support payments arrears of over $187,000.00 dollars.

An investigation by the Child Support Enforcement Division determined that the man was residing in Bladensburg, MD. Deputies went to the location and upon arrival noticed a male in a car smoking a cigarette. The deputies approached the male and confirmed his identity was that of the father. Deputies informed him that he was under arrest and he was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections.
