Warrant/Fugitive Division Felony Arrest Report #PGSO

Upper Marlboro, MD…The Sheriff’s Office Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the following felony arrests:

Suspect Arrested for CDS Possession with Intent to Distribute

Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Barry Giles of District Heights, MD on an arrest warrant for CDS possession with Intent to Distribute that was obtained by County Police on April 13, 2017.

The Warrant states that on April 10th in the 6700 block of Foster Street, County Police executed a search and seizure warrant for listed items to seize all drugs and documents. According to the warrant the items recovered at the residence were a clear indication of manufacturing controlled dangerous substances and of distribution.

On April 26, Giles agreed to turn himself in at the Office of the Sheriff Headquarters in Upper Marlboro, Md. Deputies arrested Giles without incident and transported him to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections (DOC) Upper Marlboro for processing.

Giles is also charged with CDS Possession Not Marijuana.

First Degree Assault Suspect Arrested

Sheriff’s deputies arrested Musa Williams of Upper Marlboro, MD, on an arrest warrant for First Degree Assault obtained by County Police Department on April 24, 2017.

According to the warrant, on the day the warrant was obtained, at the Prince George’s Hospital in the 3000 block of Hospital Drive in Hyattsville, MD. Williams, who was a patient was alleged to have struck two male security guards with an unknown object as they tried to calm him down. The warrant also states that Williams was later successfully restrained.

On April 24th, Sheriff’s deputies arrived at the location of the incident where they advised Williams that there was a warrant for his arrest. Williams was released and served at the hospital, placed into custody, and transported to the Department of Corrections for processing.

Williams is also charged with Second Degree Assault, Conceal with a Dangerous Weapon, Reckless Endangerment.
