Warrant/Fugitive Division Felony Arrest Report #PGSO

Upper Marlboro, MD…The Sheriff’s Office Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the following felony arrests:
       First Degree Assault Suspect Arrested

Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Markeith Broadwater of Indian Head, MD, who was wanted on
an arrest warrant for First Degree Assault that was obtained by County Police on April 23, 2018.

According to the warrant, on April 22, 2018, in the 5700 block of Butterfield Drive in Clinton, MD, Broadwater and a female were engaged in a heated argument that turned physical during which Broadwater is alleged to have bitten and strangled her. The victim was taking to MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center for her injuries. The warrant further states Broadwater and the female had previously been in a relationship.

 On May 7, Deputies determined that Broadwater could be located in the 10th block of Thompson Lane in Indian Head, MD. Deputies arrested Broadwater at the address without incident and transported him to District 3 Criminal Investigation Division (CID) Domestic Violence Unit.

Broadwater is also charged with Assault Second Degree, Reckless Endangerment and False Endangerment.

  First Degree Child Abuse Suspect Arrested

Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Hoevi Gbedassi of Oxon Hill, MD who was wanted on an arrest warrant for Child Abuse First Degree that was obtained by Prince George’s County Police on May 10, 2018. 

According to the warrant, on October 5, 2017th, at a location in Oxon Hill, Bailey is alleged to have abused a juvenile causing physical injury sufficiently severe as to necessitate hospitalization. On May 15th, Deputies investigation led them to a residence in Temple Hills, MD where Gbedassi was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections (DOC) for processing.

Gbedassi is also charged with Assault First and Second Degree.

Warrant/Fugitive Division Felony Arrest Report #PGSO

Upper Marlboro, MD…The Sheriff’s Office Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the following felony arrests:

Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested


Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Demetri Stoutamire of Lanham, MD, who was wanted on an arrest warrant for Armed Robbery obtained by County Police on April 11, 2018.

On March 28th, in the 10200 block of Baltimore Avenue in College Park, MD, county police responded to a citizen armed robbery. According to the warrant, Stoutamire and another suspect arranged to meet with a male to purchase cell phones. As they approached the males’ vehicle, Stoutamire is alleged to have displayed a handgun, demanded the victim’s property and money, and fled the scene.

The warrant further states that the victim relinquished $12,000 in US Currency and cell phones valued at approximately $1,000. Sheriff Deputies located the suspect at a residence in the 9700 block of Good Luck Road in Lanham, MD, where a woman opened the door and allowed deputies entry into the residence. Stoutamire walked out of another room and was taken into custody. He was transported to Police District I.

Stoutamire is also charged with Robbery, Con-Armed Robbery and Con-Theft $1500 to Under 25,000.
                  
Child Abuse Suspect Arrested

Sheriff’s deputies arrested Elliot Agbormbi of Lanham, MD, on an arrest warrant for Second Degree Child Abuse obtained by the County Police on March 27, 2018. According to the warrant, on March 10, Agbormbi is alleged to have struck a juvenile victim repeatedly with an extension cord causing multiple bruises, scars and markings visibly covering various parts of the victim’s body.

An investigation by Sheriff Deputies determined that Agbormbi could be located at the Lanham residence where the incident occurred. Deputies went to the location where Agbormbi was informed of the warrant, after which he was placed into custody and transported to the Prince George’s County, MD Department of Corrections without incident. Agbormbi is also charged with Second Degree Assault.
