Warrant Squad/ MPD Partner to Arrest 1st Degree Burglary Suspect

Upper Marlboro, MD… The Prince George’s County Sheriff’s Warrant Squad reported the arrest yesterday of Antwon Hicks on a warrant for First Degree Burglary. The warrant was obtained by County Police (PGPD) District IV detectives on March 22, 2012 and forward to the Sheriff’s Office.

According to the warrant, on January 17, 2012 Hicks is alleged to have used pry tools to forcibly enter a residence in the 800 block of Marcy Avenue, Oxon Hill, MD before taking property valued at nearly $5,000.

Deputies from the Warrant Squad investigating Hicks’ whereabouts were led to the 4300 block of 3^rd street in South East Washington, D.C. where combined efforts with the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) resulted in Hicks’ arrest.

He was transported to the Central Detention Facility in D.C. where he will be charged as a fugitive from Prince George’s County. District IV detectives were notified.
