Deputies Arrest CDS Possession with Intent to Distribute Suspect

Upper Marlboro, MD… The Office of the Sheriff’s Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Mikal Tairon Bunn, on August 26, 2022, on a warrant for CDS Possession with Intent to Distribute obtained by county police on June 9, 2022.

According to the warrant, on June 9, 2022, Bunn and another individual were stopped by the county police for a traffic violation. As the officer approached the vehicle, he was met with the strong odor of marijuana emanating from it. The officer also observed an open container of alcohol and asked both suspects to exit the vehicle. When police searched the vehicle, they found several suspected drugs and seized them. Both subjects were released awaiting lab results of the seized items for pending criminal charges.  

On August 26, 2022, deputies determined that Bunn was located at an address in the 700 block of 58th Avenue in Fairmount Heights, MD. Upon arrival, deputies were able to identify Bunn, he was then served with the warrant, placed into custody, and safely transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections in Upper Marlboro, MD without incident. Prince George’s County Police Detectives were notified. 

Bunn is also charged with CDS Possession-Not Marijuana.

Deputies Arrest Armed Carjacking Suspect

Upper Marlboro, MD… The Office of the Sheriff’s Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Xavion Tyrell Proctor, on August 23, 2022, on a warrant for Armed Carjacking obtained by county police on August 7, 2022.

According to the warrant, on August 7, 2022, police responded to the 2100 block of Alice Avenue in Oxon Hill, MD., for a reported armed carjacking. Police spoke with the victim who reported being approached by Proctor alongside three other individuals who allegedly pointed a firearm, taking their vehicle and personal property, before fleeing the scene. Detectives were able to identify Proctor as one of the suspects involved through their investigation.    

On August 23, 2022, deputies determined that Proctor was located at an address in the 4500 block of Birchtree Lane in Temple Hills, MD.  Upon arrival, deputies were able to identify Proctor, he was then served with the warrant, placed into custody, and safely transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections without incident. Prince George’s County Police Detectives were notified.

Proctor is also charged with Carjacking, Assault First Degree, Armed Robbery, Firearm Use/Felony-Violence Crime, Robbery, Assault Second Degree, Theft of $1,500 to under $25,000, Motor Vehicle/Unlawful Taking, Breaking and Entering Motor Vehicle- Rogue and Vagabond, Handgun in Vehicle, Loaded Handgun on Person, and Unauthorized Removal of Motor Vehicle.

Deputies Arrested Attempted Second-Degree Murder Suspect

Upper Marlboro, MD… The Office of the Sheriff’s Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Antonio Knott, on August 19, 2022, on a warrant for Attempted Second-Degree Murder obtained by county police on August 11, 2022.  

According to the warrant, on July 19, 2022, police responded to the 5400 block of Silver Hill Road in District Heights, MD., for a reported contact shooting. When officers arrived, they spoke with the victim who was suffering from a gunshot wound. Police learned that Knott and the victim were involved in an altercation and the victim was shot. Knott then fled the scene before police arrived and the victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. Through their investigation, police were able to identify Rogers as the suspect. 

On August 19, 2022, deputies determined that Knott was located at an address in the 3700 block of Stonecliff Road in Suitland, MD. Upon arrival, deputies were able to identify Knott, he was then served with the warrant, placed into custody, and safely transported to Detectives at the Prince George’s County Police Department without incident.

Knott is also charged with First-Degree Assault, Second-Degree Assault, Reckless Endangerment from Car, and Obstructing & Hindering.

Deputies Arrested Attempted Second-Degree Murder Suspect

Upper Marlboro, MD… The Office of the Sheriff’s Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Faye Rogers, on August 18, 2022, on a warrant for Attempted Second-Degree Murder obtained by county police on August 11, 2022.  

According to the warrant, on July 19, 2022, police responded to the 5400 block of Silver Hill Road in District Heights, MD., for a reported contact shooting. When officers arrived, they spoke with the victim who was suffering from a gunshot wound. Police learned that Rogers and the victim were involved in an altercation and the victim was shot. Rogers then fled the scene before police arrived and the victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. Through their investigation, police were able to identify Rogers as the suspect. 

On August 18, 2022, deputies determined that Rogers was located at an address in the 2100 block of Alice Avenue in Oxon Hill, MD. Upon arrival, deputies were able to identify Rogers, she was then served with the warrant, placed into custody, and safely transported to Detectives at the Prince George’s County Police Department without incident.

Rogers is also charged with First-Degree Assault, Second-Degree Assault, Reckless Endangerment from Car, and Obstructing & Hindering.

Deputies Arrest First Degree Assault Suspect

Upper Marlboro, MD… The Office of the Sheriff’s Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Gregory David Culter, on August 10, 2022, on two warrants for First Degree Assault obtained by county police on August 4 and August 6, 2022.

According to the warrant, on August 4, 2022, police responded to an address in the 7200 block of Crafford Place, Fort Washington, MD., for a domestic home invasion. Culter allegedly harassed and called the victim multiple times before arriving at the residence unannounced and pulling out a firearm and threatening to kill the victim. Before police arrived, Culter fled the scene with the victim’s personal property. Culter was also charged in a separate incident on July 30, 2022, where he was alleged to have assaulted the victim before vandalizing their vehicle. Through their investigation, police were able to identify Culter as the suspect in both incidents.          

On August 10, 2022, deputies determined that Cutler was located at an address in the 2200 block of Alice Avenue in Oxon Hill, MD. Deputies knocked on the door and the resident answered, allowing them to enter the home. Once inside, Culter was identified, served with the warrant, and safely transported to Detectives with the Prince George’s County Police Department without incident.

Culter is also charged with 2 counts of First-Degree Assault, 3 counts of Second-Degree Assault, Home Invasion, Armed Robbery, Robbery, Firearm Use/Felony-Violence Crime, Possession of a Firearm Minor, Handgun on Person, Electronic Communication Harass, Burglary-4th Degree-Dwell, and Misuse of Telephone and Repeat Calls.

Deputies Arrest First Degree Assault Suspect

 

Upper Marlboro, MD… The Office of the Sheriff's Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Kavon Dupree Jackson on August 15, 2022, on a warrant for First Degree Assault obtained by Riverdale Police Department on August 6, 2022. 

According to the warrant, on August 5th, police with the Riverdale Police Department responded to the 5300 block of Riverdale Rd, in Riverdale, MD. for a reported motor vehicle collision. Police spoke with a victim who reported having an altercation with Jackson that had originated over a child custody dispute. Jackson and the victim had been involved in a verbal altercation that turned physical when Jackson allegedly left a minor in a vehicle unattended. Police also learned that Jackson was seen driving down a narrow alley in the direction of the victim and a large group of children walking. He then attempted to run the victim over before striking another car. The victim was able to escape, and Jackson could be seen waiting outside for the victim for several minutes before fleeing the scene.

On August 15th, deputies determined that Jackson could be located at an address on Jadeleaf Ave, in Seat Pleasant, MD. Deputies knocked, and a resident answered, allowing them to enter the home. Jackson was identified in a bedroom, where he was served the warrant, placed into custody, and safely transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections without incident.

Jackson is also charged with Second Degree Assault, Reckless Endangerment, Malicious Destruction of Property, Driving a Vehicle In Excess of Reasonable and Prudent Speed, Driver Fail Exercise Proper Precaution, Reckless Driving, Negligent Driving, Failing to Secure Child Under Age 8 In Child Safety Seat and Failure to Return to & Remain at the Scene of an Accident.

Deputies Arrest Attempted Second Degree Murder Suspect

 

Upper Marlboro, MD… The Office of the Sheriff’s Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Nathan Farmer on August 17, 2022, on a warrant for Attempted Second Degree Murder obtained by county police on August 11, 2022.  

According to the warrant, on July 19, 2022, police responded to the 5400 Block of Silver Hill Rd, in Temple Hills, MD., for the report of a contact shooting. Police arrived and observed a victim on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound. Police learned that Farmer and the victim were involved in an altercation and Farmer allegedly pulled out a firearm and shot the victim. Farmer then fled the scene before police arrived and the victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. Through their investigation, police were able to identify Farmer as the suspect. 

On August 17, 2022, deputies determined that Farmer could be located at an address in the 4200 Block of 28th Ave, in Temple Hills, MD. Deputies arrived and positively identified Farmer leaving an apartment building. When deputies approached, Farmer fled and was immediately captured, he was then served the warrant, placed into custody, and safely transported to Detectives with the Prince George’s County Police Department Division VIII Station without incident.

Farmer is also charged with First Degree Assault, Second-Degree Assault and Reckless Endangerment From A Car.

Deputies Arrest First-Degree Assault Suspect

Upper Marlboro, MD… The Office of the Sheriff’s Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Chioma Renee Miattonma Egu, on August 12, 2022, on a warrant for First-Degree Assault obtained by Greenbelt Police Department on August 3, 2022.

According to the warrant, on August 2, 2022, police responded to the 8100 block of Good Luck Road, Lanham, MD. for a reported cutting. Police arrived and spoke with the victim, who disclosed having an argument with Egu that allegedly turned into a physical altercation. The warrant states that Egu allegedly ran into the kitchen, grabbed a knife, and stabbed the victim several times before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction. The victim was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. Through their investigation, detectives identified Egu as the suspect.   

On August 12, 2022, deputies determined that Egu could be located at an address in the 5800 block of Cherrywood Lane in Greenbelt, MD.  Upon arrival, deputies knocked and were permitted into the home where they were able to identify Egu in the bedroom. She was then served with the warrant and placed into custody. Egu was safely transported to detectives at the Greenbelt Police Department without incident.   

Egu is also charged with Second-Degree Assault, Reckless Endangerment, and Dangerous Weapon-Intent/Injury.

Deputies Arrest First Degree Assault Suspect

… The Office of the Sheriff’s Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Thomas George Jackson III on August 16, 2022, on a warrant for First Degree Assault obtained by county police on August 14, 2022.  

According to the warrant, on August 14, 2022, police responded to the 7700 Block of 23rd Parkway, in Temple Hills, MD., for the report of an armed person. Police arrived and spoke with the victim, who reported having an altercation with Jackson III, during a child custody exchange. Jackson III allegedly pointed a firearm and threatened to kill the victim before fleeing the scene with the child. Through their investigation, police were able to identify Jackson III as the suspect. 

On August 16, 2022, deputies determined that Jackson III could be located at an address in the 1500 Block of Pin Oak Dr, in Waldorf, MD. Deputies arrived and positively identified Jackson III leaving a home, where he was served the warrant, placed into custody, and safely transported to Detectives with the Prince George’s County Police Department Division III Station without incident.

Jackson III is also charged with Using a Firearm in the Commission of a Violence Crime and Second-Degree Assault.

Deputies Arrest First Degree Assault Suspect

 


Upper Marlboro, MD
… The Office of the Sheriff’s Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Joshua Perez Vasquez on August 12, 2022, on a warrant for First Degree Assault obtained by the county police on August 3, 2022.  

According to the warrant, on May 11, 2022, police responded to the 7700 Block of 23rd Ave, in Hyattsville, MD., for the report of a shooting. Police arrived and spoke with the victim, who disclosed having an altercation with Perez Vasquez at a local market. The warrant further states that Perez Vasquez and the victim began to fight, at which point Perez Vasquez allegedly pulled out a firearm and began to strike the victim on the head. Police learned that during the assault, the firearm went off, nearly shooting the victim in the head. The victim ran into the market and escaped. Perez Vasquez fled the scene with the victim’s personal property that dropped during the altercation. Through their investigation, police were able to identify Perez Vasquez as the suspect. 

On August 12, 2022, deputies determined that Perez Vasquez could be located at an address in the 2200 Block of Phelps Rd, in Hyattsville, MD. Deputies knocked on the door and Perez Vasquez answered, allowing them to enter the home. Once inside, Perez Vasquez was positively identified and served the warrant, placed into custody, and safely transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections in Upper Marlboro, MD. without incident.

Perez Vasquez is also charged with Using a Firearm in the Commission of a Violence Crime and Second-Degree Assault.

Deputies Arrest Kidnapping Suspect

 

Upper Marlboro, MD… The Office of the Sheriff's Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Dajohn Cornelle Blunt on August 10, 2022, on a warrant for Kidnapping obtained by deputies assigned to the Domestic Violence Intervention Division (DVID) on August 8, 2022. 

According to the warrant, on August 8th, deputies responded to an address in the 1000 Block of Glen Willow Drive in Capitol Heights, MD. for a Domestic Incident. Blunt arrived unannounced and physically assaulted a victim in their apartment by striking them multiple times, he also allegedly pulled out a firearm and demanded the victim’s password to their cell phone. The victim was able to escape from Blunt, leaving the apartment. The warrant further states, in another incident on or around April or May of 2022, Blunt allegedly shot at the victim's vehicle while they were driving, leaving a bullet hole in the driver's side door. The victim pulled over, where Blunt physically forced the victim out of the car and into his car. Blunt allegedly set the victim's vehicle on fire before fleeing the scene.

On August 10th, deputies determined that Blunt could be located at an address in the 1400 Block of Capitol View Terrace in Hyattsville, MD. Deputies knocked, and Blunt answered, allowing them to enter the home. Blunt surrendered peacefully,  he was served the warrant, placed into custody, and safely transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections without incident.

Blunt is also charged with First Degree Assault, Using a Firearm in the Commission of a Crime, and Second-Degree Assault.

Deputies Arrested Robbery Suspect

 

Upper Marlboro, MD… The Office of the Sheriff’s Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Osirameh Garaba, on August 8, 2022, on a warrant for a robbery obtained by the Greenbelt Police Department on July 27, 2022.  

According to the warrant, on July 25, 2022, officers responded to the 8100 block of Bird Lane in greenbelt, MD for a domestic call for service. Police learned the victim was driving from Greenway Shopping Center and was stopped at a red light, at which time Garaba got into the back seat with their child. Garabatold the victim to drive and not to stop. As the victim was driving, Garaba allegedly hit the victim multiple times with a closed fist. The victim came to a complete stop and quickly grabbed her child to get away from Garaba. Garaba allegedly took the victim's phone and left the scene before police arrived. Through their investigation, 
detectives identified Garaba as the suspect.   

On August 8, 2022, deputies determined that Garaba was located at an address in the 6800 block of Green Crescent Ct. in Greenbelt, MD. Deputies knocked on the door and Garaba answered, allowing them to enter the home. Once inside, Garaba was identified, served with the warrant, and safely transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections without incident. Greenbelt Police Department Detectives were notified.

Garaba is also charged with Second-Degree Assault, Reckless Endangerment, and Theft $100 to Under $1,500.

Deputies Arrested Attempted First-Degree Assault Suspect


Upper Marlboro, MD… The Office of the Sheriff’s Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Gabrielle Marie Estevez, on July 26, 2022, on a warrant for Attempted First Degree Assault obtained by county police on May 19, 2022.  

According to the warrant, on May 9, 2022, police responded to the 6600 block of Adelphi Road in Hyattsville, MD, for a reported vandalism. When officers arrived, they spoke with the victim who stated she was involved in a road rage incident. Allegedly Estevez used a weapon to threaten the victim and vandalize the vehicle causing major damage. The victim was able to escape and call the police who were able to identify Estevez as the suspect through their investigation.  

On July 26, 2022, deputies determined that Estevez was located at an address in the 6100 block of 42nd Street in Hyattsville, MD. Deputies knocked on the door and Estevez answered, allowing them to enter the home. Once inside, Estevez was identified, served with the warrant, placed into custody, and safely transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections without incident. Prince George’s County Police Detectives were notified.

Estevez is also charged with Second-Degree Assault, Reckless Endangerment, and Malicious Destruction of Property Value of less than $1,000.

Deputies Arrested Possession of Child Pornography Suspect

Upper Marlboro, MD… The Office of the Sheriff’s Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Chanson Maurice Hutchinson, on August 3, 2022, on a warrant for Possession of Child Pornography obtained by county police on July 21, 2022.  

According to the warrant, on July 27, 2022, Detectives, were notified by The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) in reference to a child pornography case. Through their investigation, detectives identified Hutchinson as the suspect who allegedly uploaded child pornography multiple times on a photo-sharing platform website.      

On August 3, 2022, deputies determined that Hutchinson was located at an address in the 5300 block of Newton Street in Bladensburg, MD. Deputies knocked on the door and Hutchinson answered, allowing them to enter the home. Once inside, Hutchinson was identified, served with the warrant, and safely transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections without incident. Prince George’s County Police Detectives were notified.

Hutchinson is also charged with 13 counts of Possession of Child Pornography and 13 counts of Child Pornography Promotion and Distribution.
