Deputies Arrest First Degree Assault Suspect

 

Upper Marlboro, MD… The Office of the Sheriff's Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Shawn Anthony Marshall Jr. on July 26, 2021, on a warrant for First Degree Assault obtained by county police on July 7, 2021.

According to the warrant, on June 29th, police were flagged down in reference to a citizen armed robbery. Police learned that Marshall Jr. alongside a second suspect allegedly approached the victim’s vehicle, displaying a firearm and made demands for the victim’s property. In fear, the victim complied with Marshall Jr’s demands. Marshall Jr. and the second suspect fled the scene before police arrived.

On July 26, deputies determined that Marshall Jr. could be located at an address in the 10000 block of Bald Hill Rd. in Bowie, MD. Deputies knocked on the door, and a resident answered and allowed them to enter the home. Deputies identified Marshall Jr. inside, where he was served the warrant, placed into custody, and safely transported to the custody of the Prince George’s County Police Department, without incident.

Marshall Jr. is also charged with Armed Robbery, Firearm Use in a Felony, Robbery, Second Degree Assault, Reckless Endangerment, Theft $1,500 To Under $25,000, Handgun on Person and Handgun in Vehicle.

Deputies Arrest First Degree Assault Suspect

 

Upper Marlboro, MD… The Office of the Sheriff's Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Franklin Moncada-Andino on July 23, 2021, on a warrant for First Degree Assault obtained by the Hyattsville City Police Department on April 20, 2021.

According to the warrant, on March 27th, detectives with the Hyattsville City Police Department Spoke with a victim, who disclosed that they were assaulted by Moncada-Andino while in a vehicle located in Hyattsville, MD. Detectives learned that Moncada-Andino had allegedly struck the victim with a hard object before pulling the victim out of the car. Moncada-Andino fled the scene before police arrived.  

On July 23rd, deputies determined that Moncada-Andino could be located at an address in the 2000 block of Fordham St. in Hyattsville, MD. Upon arrival, deputies knocked, and a resident allowed them to enter the home. Once inside, Moncada-Andino was identified and served the warrant, placed into custody, and safely transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections in Upper Marlboro, MD, without incident.

Jenkins is also charged with Second Degree Assault.

Deputies Arrest Robbery Suspect

 

Upper Marlboro, MD… The Office of the Sheriff's Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Marcus Deion Jenkins on July 22, 2021, on a warrant for Robbery obtained by county police on October 8, 2020.

According to the warrant, on September 26th, detectives learned that Jenkins had entered a store in the 6100 Block of Marlboro Pike, in District Heights, MD. Once inside, Jenkins was alleged to have walked behind the counter and began to put items in a bag. Jenkins fled the scene before police arrived.  

On July 22nd, deputies determined that Jenkins could be located at an address in the 2300 block of Brooks, Dr. in Suitland, MD. Upon arrival, deputies knocked on the door and identified Jenkins. He was served the warrant, placed into custody, and safely transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections in Upper Marlboro, MD, without incident.

Jenkins is also charged with Theft $100 To Under $1,500
