Warrant Squad Arrests First Degree Assault Suspect


Upper Marlboro, MD… The Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest last Tuesday of Orlando Irving on a First Degree Assault warrant obtained by the Bowie City Police Department (BPD) detectives on March 6, 2012.

According to the warrant, on February 15, 2012, Irving is alleged to have robbed another male of his belongings at gunpoint at a bus stop at the intersection of Northview and Collington Roads in Bowie Maryland. 

Deputies investigating Irving's whereabouts had him under surveillance at a location in Fort Washington. In a joint operation with the United States Marshalls, Irving was arrested during a traffic stop at the intersection of Allentown and Temple Hills Roads.  

Irving was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Prince George’s County Correctional Center where he is being held on a “No Bond” status.  BPD detectives were notified of his arrest.

Irving is also charged with Armed Robbery, Firearm Use during a Felonious Violent Crime, and Robbery.
