Warrant Division Arrests First Degree Burglary Suspect


Upper Marlboro, MD… The Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest yesterday of Marcus Hardy on an arrest warrant for First Degree Burglary, obtained by the County Police District V detectives on September 27, 2012.
 
According to the warrant, on July 6, 2012 Hardy sold stolen property, valued at $600.00, to a local pawn shop. The warrant further states the property was stolen during a residential burglary in the 1000 block of Phillips Drive in Upper Marlboro, MD in June 2012.

Deputies investigating Hardy’s whereabouts were led to the 10,000 block of Elizabeth Parnum Place, Upper Marlboro, MD, where Hardy was arrested.  Hardy was transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections where he is being held on a $25,000.00 bond. 

District V detectives were notified of the arrest, and Hardy is charged with Theft: Less than $1000.00.
