Deputies Assist Pennsylvania Authorities Arrest Suspect Wanted for “Interference With Custody of Children”

Upper Marlboro, MD… The Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Erica Holdsworth on an arrest warrant for Interference With Custody of Children (a felony) obtained by the Meadville City Police Department (MCPD) on January 30, 2013.

According to court documents, Holdsworth violated a custody order issued by the Court of Common Pleas, of Crawford County, PA, by failing to return her child to its primary custodian/guardian on January 30, 2013.  Holdsworth then allegedly fled the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and travelled to Maryland with child.

Deputies were contacted by Pennsylvania authorities and began an investigation into Holdsworth’s whereabouts. They were led to the 9000 block of 2^nd St. in Lanham, MD, where she was located and apprehended without incident.

The MCPD was notified of the arrest and Holdsworth was transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections – charged as a Fugitive from Crawford County, PA.
