U.S. Marshals Task Force Arrests First Degree Assault/ Armed Robbery Suspect

Upper Marlboro, MD… The Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest yesterday by the U.S. Marshals Task Force of Terry Savoy on an arrest warrant for First Degree Assault, obtained by County Police District V detectives on February 13, 2013.

When a Waldorf address for Savoy proved inaccurate, additional information on his whereabouts led the U.S. Marshals Task Force to the 3900 block of 26th Street, Chesapeake Beach in Calvert County. Found at the location, Savoy was transported to the Prince George’s County Correction Center where he was being held on a $30,000.00 bond. He was released after posting bond.

“The U.S. Marshals Task Force continues to be outstanding at finding suspects who absolutely don’t want to be found” said Chief Assistant Sheriff Darrin Palmer. “We are proud to be on this team. It brings together law enforcement resources and personnel with experience and knowledge of local communities, the state and the region to locate and capture the most dangerous violent offenders”.

In addition to First Degree Assault, Savoy is also charged with Armed Robbery, Robbery, Theft: Less than $1,000.00 and Firearm Use during a Felonious Violent Crime.
