Deputies Arrest Attempted Second Degree Murder Suspect

Upper Marlboro, MD…The Warrant &Fugitive Division arrested Malik Bush Saturday on an Attempted Second Degree Murder warrant obtained by County Police detectives on October 21, 2013.

According to the warrant, on October 20th, Bush produced a knife and stabbed a man attempted to intervene in a verbal dispute between Bush and another individual outside of a restaurant in the 1000 block of Shoppers Way in Largo, MD.  Bush subsequently fled the scene.

Deputies investigating Bush’s whereabouts were led to the 8100 block of Baltimore Avenue in College Park, MD. With the assistance of the County Police Department Bush was taken into custody and transported to the Police District II station for interviewing.

Bush was also charged with one count each of First Degree Assault, Second Degree Assault, and Intent to Injure with a Dangerous Weapon.
