Warrant Deputies Arrest Attempted First Degree Murder Suspect


Upper Marlboro, MD… The Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest yesterday of Xavion Deandre Michael Proctor on an arrest warrant for Attempted First Degree Murder, that was obtained by County Police detectives on October 5, 2013.

According to the warrant, Proctor approached a female who was sitting in her vehicle and fired into the vehicle, striking the victim in her right thigh.  The warrant states further that Proctor proceeded to walk away from the crime scene as the victim fled. According to the warrant, the victim was not random.  

Deputies conducted several interviews in their investigation of Proctor’s whereabouts that led to the 7100 block of Willow Hill Drive in Capitol Heights, Maryland.  While conducting surveillance at the Willow Drive address Proctor was spotted exiting the rear basement door to smoke a cigarette and was apprehended without incident.

Proctor is charged with Attempted First Degree Murder, Attempted Second Degree Murder, Assault First Degree, Assault Second Degree, Firearm Use/Felony-Violent Crime, Handgun on Person and Handgun in Vehicle.
