Warrant/Fugitive Division Felony Arrest Report #PGSO

Upper Marlboro, MD…The Sheriff’s Office Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the following felony arrests:

First Degree Murder Indictment Suspect Arrested

The Sheriff’s Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Julius Nash on an indictment alleging Attempted 1st Degree Murder. The indictment was issued by the Circuit Court of Prince George's County on July 6, 2017. Upon receiving the indictment, Warrant/Fugitive Deputies began an investigation into Nash’s whereabouts.

On July 12, 2017, Deputies, with the Marshals’ Task Force, located and arrested Nash in the 800 block of Marjorie Court in Washington, DC. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Metropolitan Police Department 7th District


Station for processing and to await extradition back to Maryland.

Sex Abuse of a Minor Suspect Arrested

Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Amaury Martinez-Amor, of Hyattsville, MD on an arrest warrant for Sex Abuse of a Minor that was obtained by the County Police on June 12, 2017.

The Warrant states that between January 2014 – December 2015 Martinez- Amour allegedly had sexual contact with a minor.

Upon receipt of the warrant on July 10th, deputies began an investigation that led them to a location alleged to be where the abuse occurred. When deputies arrived at the location, Martinez-Amor, who was sitting in the parking lot, identified himself when asked by a deputy. He was advised of the warrant, taken into custody, and transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Correction without incident.

Martinez- Amor is also charged with Second Degree Assault, and Sex Offense Third and Fourth Degree.
