Upper Marlboro, MD…
The Office of the Sheriff's Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Brian
Lee Toles on May 24, 2021, on a warrant for First Degree Assault obtained by county
police on March 20, 2021.
According
to the warrant, on May 20th, a victim walked into the police station
to report an assault with a weapon that took place on May 10th, in
the 8700 Block of Richboro Rd, in District Heights, MD. Detectives learned that
the victim had agreed to meet with Toles to exchange their pet dog. The victim
reported arguing with Toles when he allegedly pulled out a gun, pointing it at
the victim’s face before leaving the scene. Detectives were able to identify Toles
as the suspect through their investigation.
On
May 24th, deputies’ investigation led them to an address in the 2700
Block of Campus Way N in Glenarden, MD. Deputies arrived and identified Toles
walking out of a store. He was served the warrant, placed into custody, and
safely transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections in
Upper Marlboro, MD, without incident.
Toles
is also charged with Second Degree Assault, Possession of a handgun, and Possession
of a Handgun in a Vehicle.
