The Office of the Sheriff for Prince George's County MD Celebrates National Asian American And Pacific Islander Heritage Month!

 

Sheriff Carr and members of the PGSO Motor’s Unit were presented with a “Meritorious and Distinguished Service” Award by the VFW Post #9376 Motorcycle Group, in honor of their Service!

 

Today, May 15, 2023, the Office of the Sheriff observed Peace Officers Memorial Day and commemorated the service and ultimate sacrifices of Sergeant James Victor Arnaud and Deputy First Class Elizabeth Licera Magruder. We also commemorated the End of Watch for former Sheriff Melvin C. High!

The Office of the Sheriff hosted a joint meeting with members of AOBA (Apartment Office Building Association), Council members, 988 Services, and District Court Representatives to streamline communication as it relates to Warrants of Restitution throughout Prince George's County. Partnership for the Citizens, Sheriff's Office, and Property Managers/Businesses in Prince George's County!

 

Congratulation to DFC Romero for graduating from the Prince George's County Emergency Services Team Basic Sniper School hosted by the Prince George's County Police Department EST; it was an honor for Sheriff Carr and the members of the Office of the Sheriff to be in attendance. Job well done!!!!!!!

 

Cpl. Casarella and a member of the K9 unit from the Office of the Sheriff participated in career day at High Bridge Elementary School in Bowie, MD.!

 

Sheriff Carr and the members of The Office of the Sheriff for Prince George's County MD joined Dept. of Environment Deputy Director A. Caldarelli and Principal R. Mboma at Francis Scott Key Elementary School to celebrate Arbor Day. Deputy Director Caldarelli issued a proclamation of the Arbor Day officially on April 28, 2023!
