Sheriff’s Deputies Arrest First-Degree Assault Suspect

                       WARRANT/FUGITIVE DIVISION FELONY ARREST REPORT


Upper Marlboro, MD… The Office of the Sheriff's Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Michelle Brown on June 25, 2019, for a First- degree assault warrant obtained by County Police on June 20, 2019.


According to the warrant, on June 18, 2019, officers responded to the 5000 block of Brown Station Rd., in Upper Marlboro, MD, for the report of an assault. Brown is alleged to have entered a restaurant and where she began to argue with another woman. Brown is further alleged to have made verbal threats to the victim, then approaching the victim, pulling out a knife and striking her. The victim was cut on her hands and fingers, after which Brown fled the scene.

Deputies’ investigation determined that Brown was at an address in the 7200 block of E Ridge Drive in Hyattsville, MD. At the location deputies observed Brown getting into her vehicle. They conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and Brown was taken into custody and safely transported to the Department of Corrections without incident.


Brown is also charged with Second- Degree Assault, Reckless Endangerment, and Possession of a dangerous weapon with the intent to injure.

Sheriff’s Deputies Arrest Sex Abuse of a Minor Suspect

                     WARRANT/FUGITIVE DIVISION FELONY ARREST REPORT
  Upper Marlboro, MD… The Office of the Sheriff's Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Henry Franco on June 27, 2019 on a Sex Abuse of a Minor warrant obtained by County Police on June 25, 2019.

According to the warrant, a victim who is a minor disclosed that Franco had allegedly engaged in sexual acts with her at a residence in Oxon Hill, MD, and in Waldorf, MD.

After investigating the warrant deputies determined that Franco could be in at his place of employment located in Suitland, MD. Deputies went to the location and Franco was taken into custody and transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections for processing.

Franco is also charged with Sex Offense Second-Degree.

Sheriff’s Deputies Arrest First-Degree Assault Suspect

                    WARRANT/FUGITIVE DIVISION FELONY ARREST REPORT
Upper Marlboro, MD… The Office of the Sheriff's Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Henry Moreno on June 27, 2019, for a First- degree assault warrant obtained by Hyattsville City Police on June 19, 2019.


According to the warrant, on May 11, 2019, Henry Moreno and five male suspects were in the 7000 block of Adelphi Rd, in Hyattsville, MD. They are alleged to have broken a victim’s car window with a baseball bat and struck the victim in the head with a glass bottle, causing a gash in the victim’s head. The men are further alleged to have taken the victim’s coat as they continued to physically assault him. A relative of the victim’s called 911 for help and a witness drove the victim to the local Fire Department for immediate assistance. The victims was transported to the hospital for follow up treatment.


The Hyattsville City Police Department arrived on the scene and detained three of the six suspects, one of which was wearing the victim’s coat. The suspects were all identified.

Deputies investigating the whereabouts of Henry Moreno located him at his residence in the 500 block of Abel Avenue in Capitol Heights, MD. A female resident answered the door and told deputies that Moreno was in the residence. He was taken into custody and transported to County Department of Corrections, without incident, where he will await trial.

Moreno is also charged with Robbery, Conspiracy to commit robbery, Second- Degree Assault, and Malicious destruction of property.

Sheriff’s Deputies Arrest Sex Abuse of a Minor Suspect



Upper Marlboro, MD… The Office of the Sheriff's Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Kingsley Asanji on June 17, 2019 on a Sex Abuse of a Minor warrant obtained by County Police on June 14, 2019.
 
According to the warrant, a victim who is a minor disclosed that Asanji had allegedly engaged her in sexual intercourse at a residence in Lanham, MD. 

After investigating the warrant deputies determined that Asanji could be located in the 5600 block of Whitfield Chapel Road in Lanham, MD. Deputies went to the location and knocked, Asanji answered the door and was taken into custody and transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections for processing.

Asanji is also charged with Sex Offense Third Degree.
