Prince George’s County, MD…Sheriff’s Warrant Squad conducted a warrant sweep on December 1, 2011 in the Glassmanor neighborhood of Oxon Hill, MD. The Warrant Squad operation supports a focus by County Police on crime in the area. Thirteen arrests were made to close eighteen warrants.
Two individuals wanted by County Police were among those arrested. Alexander Ireland was arrested for Violation of Probation for Burglary 1st Degree on a warrant issued November 3, 2011 and an Assault 2nd Degree charge on a warrant issued September 29, 2011. Ricardo Harris was arrested for 1st Degree Assault on a warrant issued on August 30, 2011.
An additional fifteen warrants were closed with the arrest of eleven other individuals with outstanding warrants for drug possession, assault, theft, and motor vehicle violations.
