Various law enforcement agencies came together Wednesday, June 6,
2012 to participate in the 2012 Torch Run for the Special Olympics. Following a
brief ceremony, three flames were unified into the Flame of Hope. The athletes
and participating runners carried the torch from the Hyattsville Justice Center
to the American Legion Post 217 in College Park.
