Warrant Squad Arrests Felony Theft/ Fraud Suspect

Upper Marlboro, MD…  The Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest yesterday of Nacole Lewis on a Felony Theft/ Fraud warrant obtained by the County Police District 1 detectives on August 8, 2012.

According to the warrant, on March 18, 2012, county police responded to a gas station in the 3500 block of Bladensburg Road in Hyattsville for the report of a stolen purse from a vehicle. On March 19, 2012, Lewis is alleged to have used a credit card from the stolen purse to make a purchase of over $2,600.00 from a retail store.

Deputies, with the assistance of the Annapolis City Police Department, were led to a residence on Bens Drive, where Lewis was located and taken into custody without incident.

 Lewis was transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections, held on a $50,000.00 bond. Lewis is also charged with Felony Theft/ Fraud and Credit Card use of another.
