Domestic Violence Joint Warrant Operation Closes 15 Warrants/Arrests 14


Upper Marlboro, MD…  The Sheriff’s Office Warrant/Fugitive Division and the Maryland State Police (MSP) conducted a joint warrant operation last Thursday – focused primarily on domestic violence-related crimes - that resulted in the arrest of 14 suspects to close 15 warrants.

Sheriff’s warrant deputies, with MSP Troopers from the College Park and Forestville MSP Barracks, apprehended two suspects on Felony Assault warrants, four for Violations of Peace/Protective Orders, and eight for Misdemeanor Assault.

Lieutenant Colonel Regina Taylor, Commander of the Field Operations Bureau said, “Domestic Violence is a crime and this operation is a continuation of our commitment to working with our state and local partners to keep our county safe. The combined resources for these joint operations help to assure our success.”

The suspects were transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections for processing.
