Warrant Division Arrests Attempted 1st Degree Murder Suspect

Upper Marlboro, MD… The Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest today of Paul Henry on an arrest warrant for Attempted First Degree Murder, obtained by County Police District IV Detectives on February 1, 2013.

According to the warrant, on January 28, 2013, in the 4100 block of Branch Avenue in Temple Hills, MD, Henry is alleged to have brandished a handgun, opened fire and struck one of two men he is alleged to have been waiting for behind a dumpster. The warrant further indicates that the shooting may have been the result of an argument between the parties that occurred two weeks prior to the January 28^th incident, over a video game bet.

Deputies investigating Henry’s whereabouts located him in the 5200 block of West Boniwood Turn in Clinton, MD where he was taken into custody without incident and transported to District IV detectives.

Henry is also charged with an additional count of Attempted First Degree Murder, two counts each of Attempted Second Degree Murder, First Degree Assault, Second Degree Assault, Reckless Endangerment and one count each of Handgun on Person and Firearm Use in the Commission of a Felonious Violent Crime.
