Sheriff Deputies Arrest Assault Suspect

Upper Marlboro, MD… The Sheriff’s Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of John Yost of Hyattsville, MD on an arrest warrant for First Degree Assault. The warrant was obtained by the County Police Department on February 27, 2014.

According to the warrant, Yost allegedly assaulted a female victim, by punching her then attempting to cut her with a knife in an apartment in the 6600 block of Stockton Lane in Hyattsville, MD. The warrant further states that Yost became upset with the victim after an argument that stemmed from a disagreement about dinner.

Yost was located and apprehended in the 6600 block of Stockton Lane in Hyattsville, MD.  Yost is also charged with Reckless Endangerment and Assault 2^nd Degree.
