Deputies Arrest Attempted Murder Suspect

Upper Marlboro, MD… The Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Stanley Allen of Hyattsville, MD on an arrest warrant for Attempted 2^nd Degree Murder, which was obtained by County Police on April 2, 2014.

According to the warrant, on March 31, 2014 in the 3500 block of Landing Way, Hyattsville, MD, Allen allegedly attempted to drown a female victim, with whom he has a child.  The warrant states that in the altercation that began with an argument, Allen held the victim’s arm behind her back, causing the victim’s arm to break.  

The Warrant/ Fugitive Division’s investigation located Allen in the 6500 block of Landing Way in Hyattsville, MD. He was taken in to custody without incident. He was also charged with Assault First Degree and Assault Second Degree.
