Upper Marlboro, MD…The Sheriff’s
Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of LaKeysha Walters and Sean
Coleman on arrest warrants for First Degree Assault, both warrants obtained by
County Police Criminal Investigation Division (CID) in April 2014 and March
2014, respectively.
According
to the Walters warrant, Walters assaulted a male victim by stabbing him with a
kitchen knife following a dispute at a residence in the 1400 block of Southern
Avenue in Oxon Hill, MD. Both Walters’ and the victim were transported to area
hospitals and a warrant was subsequently obtained for Walter’s arrest.
Deputies’
investigation led them to believe Walters was at a residence in Oxon Hill. She
was found hiding in a bedroom closet under a large pile of clothing. She was
taken into custody and transported to the Prince George’s County Department of
Corrections.
She
is also charged with Reckless Endangerment and Second Degree Assault.
The warrant for Sean Coleman states that in March 2014,
Coleman and a male relative became involved in a verbal dispute through a
closed door when the victim attempted to retrieve personal items from Coleman’s
residence. The warrant further states Coleman opened the door and pointed a
black handgun at the victim.
After
investigation, Deputies located Coleman at a residence in the 4300 block of
Suitland, Md. He was taken into custody and transported to CID.
Coleman is also
charged with Second Degree Assault.
