Deputies Arrest 1st Degree Assault Suspect

Upper Marlboro, MD… The Prince George’s County Office of the Sheriff’s Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Marquis Stevenson of Upper Marlboro, MD on a First Degree Assault arrest warrant obtained by County Police Detectives on May 14, 2014.

 

According to the warrant, in April 2014, Stevenson and an accomplice assaulted a male victim after a verbal altercation outside of a convenience store in the 6100 block of Marlboro Pike in District Heights, MD.

Deputies investigating Stevenson’s whereabouts made several attempts to locate him at his residence in Upper Marlboro, MD prior to his arrest.  

On May 20^th, Stevenson turned himself in to Deputies at Sheriff’s Headquarters. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections.  

Stevenson is also charged with one count of Assault 2nd Degree.
