PGSO/ Calvert County Sheriff Close Ten Child Support Warrants in Annual Sweep

Upper Marlboro, MD…The Prince George’s County Sheriff’s Child Support Enforcement Division (CSED) reported 10 arrests that represented unpaid child support of over  $83K in its  annual joint warrant sweep with  the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) .

Twenty-seven (27) sheriff’s deputies, including six from Calvert County worked to locate individuals, thought to be living in Prince George’s County, for whom there were outstanding child support warrants.

As a result of the operation over $83K in child support arrearage will have to be addressed by the offending parent.  Lieutenant Ronald Blackwell, Commander of CSED said “This is the 12^th year we’ve partnered with Calvert County and it continues to be successful for both agencies. We are proud that our collaboration assists the custodial parent to maintain a quality of life for children in both Prince George’s and Calvert Counties”
