Upper Marlboro, MD…
The Prince George’s County Office of the Sheriff (PGSO) reported 82 additional arrests related to the annual Clackamas County National Family Violence Apprehension Sweep
that took place on October 21st of this year.
Captain
Mints said he had a lot of confidence in the early investigative work his
deputies did preparing for the Clackamas County operation. “We continued to
follow up with some addresses and some people turned themselves in after
learning that we had been looking for them,” said Mints. “That persistence
resulted in our taking another 82 people into custody and closing another 93
warrants.
The Prince George’s County Office of the Sheriff was
#1 in the country for arrests during this year’s Clackamas County Sweep of all the
participating agencies. These new
arrests bring their total to 187 arrests to close 217 warrants.
