Warrant/Fugitive Division Felony Arrest Report


Upper Marlboro, MD…The Sheriff’s Office Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the following felony arrests:

 Attempted First Degree Murder Suspect Arrested

 
Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Rakeem Solomon of Greenbelt, MD, who was wanted on an arrest warrant for Attempted First Degree Murder obtained by Bladensburg Police Department (BPD) on January 13, 2015. 

According to the warrant, on November 4, 2014, in the 5000 block of 57th Ave in Bladensburg, MD, Solomon, along with an unknown suspect approached a male victim (who was a disabled veteran), displayed a handgun and demanded the victims’ property. A struggle occurred and the victim was shot in the right hip. The warrant further states that Solomon and his accomplice stole the victim’s vehicle.

On March 26th,  Sheriff Deputies, members of the US Marshall Fugitive Task Force and Bladensburg Police located Solomon at a residence in the 6000 block of Allison Ave, Landover, MD. They were granted access to the residence where they located Solomon. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Bladensburg Police Department.

Solomon is also charged with First and Second Degree Assault, Firearm Use/Felony Violent Crime, Armed Robbery, and Armed Carjacking.

                                                First Degree Child Abuse Suspect Arrested
 
Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Dominique Bailey of District Heights, MD who was wanted on an arrest warrant for Child Abuse First Degree that was obtained by Prince George’s County Police on March 10, 2015.
According to the warrant, on January 28th, Bailey was in the 6000 block of Parkland Court in Forestville, MD where she is alleged to have abused the victim causing severe physical injury that necessitated hospitalization.

On March 16th, Deputies went to the residence; Bailey was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections (DOC) for processing.

Bailey is also charged with Child Abuse Second Degree.
