Suspect
Arrested for Drug Possession with the Intent to Distribute
According to the warrant, on May 13th,
2014 Brown was in the 4600 block of Deer Park Drive in Temple hills, MD, where
he was approached by police officers while sitting in the passenger seat of an
illegally parked vehicle. The owner and driver of the vehicle gave the police
consent to search her car. The officers discovered 5.2 grams of suspected crack
cocaine packaged in 25 baggies having a street value of over $1000.00. The warrant
states that the suspected crack cocaine field tested positive and that the
incident occurred within 1,000 feet of a school zone. Hillcrest Heights
Elementary School and Benjamin Stoddert Middle School are both nearby.
Deputies along with members of the United
States Marshals located Brown at his residence in Temple Hills, MD. On May 7th
Brown was taken into custody without incident and was transported to the Prince
George’s County Department of Corrections (DOC) for processing.
Brown is also charged with CDS Possession
with Intent to Distribute near a School and CDS Possession-Not Marijuana.
First Degree Burglary Suspect Arrested
The warrant states that on December 4th,
2014 Marshall was in the 5400 block of 16th Avenue in Hyattsville,
MD, where he is alleged to have destroyed property when he burglarized a residence.
The warrant states items valued at over $2,000.00 were stolen and they included
several electronics, a backpack, and a wallet containing the victim’s driver’s
license and credit cards. Marshall was identified from images captured on
surveillance video when the stolen credit cards were used at The Mall of Prince
George’s in Hyattsville, MD.
The
deputies’ investigation determined that Marshall could be located in the 800
block of Somerset Place in Hyattsville, MD. On May 4th deputies went
to the location and were allowed entry by a female resident, Marshall was taken
into custody without incident and transported to the Prince George’s County Department
of Corrections (DOC) for processing.
Marshall is also charged with Theft $1,000
to under $10,000, Burglary Fourth Degree Dwelling, Credit Card: Steal
Another’s, Attempted Credit Card Fraud, Malicious Destruction of Property.
