Robbery Suspect Arrested

Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Jordan Dimopoulos, of Beltsville, MD on an arrest warrant for Robbery obtained by County Police on July 7, 2016.

According to the warrant, on May 31, Dimopoulos was at a local convenience store in the 4400 block of Powder Mill Road in Beltsville, MD when he allegedly snatched  money from a patron as she was paying the cashier. Dimopoulos then fled in a vehicle and a witness was able to obtain the tag information; the incident was also captured on video surveillance.

Upon receipt of the warrant,  deputies’ investigation led them to an address in in the 4800 block of Manheim Avenue in Beltsville, MD. When deputies arrived at the location they were granted peaceful entry into the residence.  Dimopoulos was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections.
