Attempted First Degree Murder Suspect Arrested
Sheriff’s deputies arrested Daniel Reyes of Glenndale, MD who was wanted on an arrest warrant for Attempted First Degree Murder obtained by County Police on July 10, 2016.
According to the warrant, on July 10th, Reyes was in the 2800 block of 31st Ave. in Temple Hills, MD, where he is alleged to have pulled out an edged weapon and stabbed a male victim causing major injury to his chest and hip. The warrant states that Reyes said to the victim “I told you not to come here”.
Upon receiving the warrant, on July 18th Sheriff’s deputies, along with Anne Arundel County Police knocked on the door of the 7000 block of Dorchester Woods Lane in Handover, MD, where they were allowed entry by a relative. Reyes, attempting to flee through the rear door, was spotted and apprehended. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections.
Reyes is also charged with Attempted Second Degree Murder, First and Second Degree Assault, Reckless Endangerment and Dangerous Weapon intent to injury.
First Degree Assault Suspect Arrested
Sheriff’s deputies arrested Brandon Slade of Fort Washington. MD, on an arrest warrant for First Degree Assault that was obtained by County Police on July 11, 2016.
According to the warrant, on July 9th in the 600 block of Hallwood Circle in Fort Washington MD, Slade allegedly physically assaulted a female victim. The warrant states that Slade attacked the victim with an unknown object and proceeded to punch her in the head, face, and upper body with a closed fist. While attempting to flee in the victim’s car, Slade struck the victim with the vehicle.
Upon receipt of the warrant on July 20, 2016, Sheriff Deputies located Hardin at the 7000 block of Surratts Road in Clinton, MD where he was placed in custody and transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections.
Slade was also charged with Second Degree Assault, Theft at 10,000 but less than 100,000, unauthorized removal of property.
