Gas Station Robbery Suspects Arrested
Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Horacio Silva, of College Park, MD and Sabrina Strouse, of Edgewater, MD on an arrest warrant for Robbery obtained by County Police on September 16, 2016.
According to the warrant, on September 14th, Silva and Strouse were in the 10900 block of Baltimore Avenue in Beltsville, MD where they are alleged to have broken into a vehicle as a woman pumped gas. According to the warrant, Strouse reached through the passenger window, unlocked the door, and walked away. Seconds later, Silva approached the vehicle, opened the door and took the victims’ belongings. When the female victim saw what was happening and attempted to retrieve her purse, Silva elbowed the victim and kept the purse as both fled the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital for her injuries.
On September 28th, deputies’ investigation led them to both suspects in the 9100 block of Baltimore Avenue in College Park, MD. They were advised of the open warrants for their arrest and were taken into custody without incident, and transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections.
Horacio Silva and Sabrina Strouse is also charged with Con-Robbery, Assault First Degree, Assault Second Degree, Rouge and Vagabond, and Theft less than $1000
First Degree Assault Suspect Arrested
Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Brian Adams of Upper Marlboro MD, who was wanted on an arrest warrant for First Degree Assault that was obtained by County Police on September 28, 2016.
According to the warrant, on the day the warrant was obtained, Adams and his former spouse were engaged in verbal altercation in a parking lot in the 2000 block of Shadyside Avenue in Suitland, MD. During the argument Adams allegedly pointed a handgun at the victim and threatened to kill her. The warrant also states that Adams left the handgun inside the vehicle when he fled the scene on foot.
On October 6, 2016, Deputies investigating the warrant determined that Adams had a pending court hearing at the Hyattsville Courthouse. He was arrested after the hearing without incident and transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections (DOC) Hyattsville Regional Center for processing.
Adams is also charged with Second Degree Assault, Handgun in Vehicle, Handgun on Person, Firearm use and Violent Crime, and Illegal Possession Ammunition.
