Warrant/Fugitive Division Felony Arrest Report #PGSO

Upper Marlboro, MD…The Sheriff’s Office Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the following felony arrests:

Attempted First Degree Murder Suspect Extradited

Sheriff’s Deputies extradited Quadari McLendon back to Prince George’s County on March 14, 2017 from Dillon, SC. McLendon who is from Suitland, MD was wanted on an arrest warrant for Attempted First Degree Murder obtained by the County Police on February 20, 2017.

On February 20, 2017, in the 1410 block of Waterford Drive in District Heights, MD, McLendon was alleged to have produced two handguns and fired from the back window of a vehicle he was in at two individuals who were washing their vehicles. McLendon and another suspect who was driving the vehicle fled the scene. The warrant further states that one of the victims was someone McLendon had known for over 10 years.

McLendon was pulled over in South Carolina for speeding; a handgun was recovered from his vehicles and officers discovered the open warrant for his arrest. Sheriff’s deputies picked McLendon up from the Dillon County Jail in Dillon, SC and transported him to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections.

McLendon is also charged with Attempted Second Degree Murder, First and Second Degree Assault, Reckless Endangerment, Handgun in Vehicle, Handgun on Person and Firearm Use/ Felony Violent Crime.

Attempted Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested

Sheriff’s deputies arrested Delvaughn Jackson of Landover, MD, who was wanted on an arrest warrant for Attempted Armed Robbery that was obtained by the County Police Department on March 02, 2017.

According to the warrant, on February 22, 2017, Jackson and another suspect approached a male as he walked down the street in the 6900 block of Old Landover Road in Hyattsville, MD. They produced a handgun, pointed it toward the man and demanded his property and money. While the robbery was in progress, the man refused to comply and yelled for help. In fear of being arrested, the suspects fled the scene by foot.

Upon receipt of the warrant, On March 16, deputies’ investigation determined that Jackson could be located in the 3100 block of 75th Ave in Landover, MD. Deputies went to the residence where Jackson was located and took him into custody without incident. He was transported County Police District 3 for questioning without incident.

Jackson is also charged with Attempted Robbery and First and Second Degree Assault.
