Warrant/Fugitive Division Felony Arrest Report


Upper Marlboro, MD…The Sheriff’s Office Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the following felony arrests:
 CDS Possession with Intent to Distribute Suspect Arrested
Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Edward Wilder of Fairmount Heights, MD on an arrest warrant for CDS Possession with Intent to Distribute Narcotics obtained by the County Police Department on May 16th, 2017.

According to the warrant, on December 2nd, 2016, the County Police conducted a court ordered search warrant in the 5500 block of Addison Road in Fairmount Heights, MD. Inside the residence they discovered ammunition, a loaded handgun, digital scales, small plastic baggies, and plastic bags containing suspected crack-cocaine that field tested positive. A check of the handgun came back as reported stolen. All of the items were located in Wilder’s two bedrooms.

Upon receipt of the warrant, Sheriff’s Deputies investigation determined that Wilder was still residing in the 5500 block of Addison Road. Deputies went to the location and a resident allowed them peaceful entry. Wilder was informed that there was a warrant for his arrest; he was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Department of Corrections.

Wilder is also charged with Firearm Possession while Drug Trafficking, CDS Possession not Marijuana, Possession of Stolen Firearm, CDS Possession of a large amount Crack-Cocaine, CDS Possession of Paraphernalia.

Possession of a Rifle/Shotgun with a Felony Conviction Suspect Arrested

Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Qianie Ward of Upper Marlboro, MD on an arrest warrant for Possession of a Rifle/Shotgun with a Felony Conviction that was obtained by the County Police on May 3rd, 2017.

The warrant states that on April 7th, the County Police Department conducted a court ordered search warrant in the 13000 block of Willoughby Road in Upper Marlboro, MD. A rifle was located inside of the residence.

On June 13th, deputies went to the address in the 13000 block of Willoughby Road and were granted entrance by a resident. Ward was informed of the warrant and placed into custody, he was then transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections without incident.
