Warrant/Fugitive Division Felony Arrest Report

                                               

Upper Marlboro, MD…The Sheriff’s Office Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the following felony arrests:

Possession of Child Pornography Suspect Arrested

Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Ernesto Diaz-Gutierrez of Brentwood, MD, on an arrest warrant for Possession of Child Pornography, obtained by County Police on March 28, 2019.

 

According to the warrant, in September of 2018, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) received a report from social media that a user had uploaded apparent child pornography to the social media website on multiple dates in 2018. Detectives identified Diaz-Gutierrez thru social media.

On April 15th, Sheriff Deputies located Diaz-Gutierrez outside a residence in the 4000 block of 38th street in Brentwood, MD. Deputies approached a male fitting the description and identified him as Diaz-Gutierrez; they took him into custody without incident and transported him to the Department of Corrections in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.

Diaz-Gutierrez is charged with 4 counts of Possession of Child Pornography.
