Deputies Arrest Theft Suspect


Upper Marlboro, MD… The Office of the Sheriff's Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Anthony Redd on January 13, 2020 on a Theft $1,500 to under $25,000 warrant obtained by County Police detectives on December 16, 2019.

According to the warrant, on December 16th, officers responded to the 4900 block of Marlboro Pike in Capitol Heights, MD for the report of a theft from a liquor store. Once on scene, the officers met with an employee who stated that three unknown suspects walked in and stole two lottery scratch off containers from the counter with an approximate value of $7,250 before fleeing the scene. The incident was also captured on surveillance cameras.

Sheriff’s Deputies investigations led them to an address in the 1000 block of Glen Willow Dr. When deputies knocked on the door, Redd answered and was served the warrant, taken into custody and transported to the Prince George's County Department of Corrections.
