Deputies Arrest First Degree Assault Suspect


Upper Marlboro, MD… The Office of the Sheriff's Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest of Jackie Vonetta Wilson on September 24, 2020, on a warrant for First Degree Assault obtained by County Police on September 15, 2020.


 


According to the warrant, on September 15th, police responded to an address in Laurel, MD, to take a report of a  dispute that resulted in injuries from an involved weapon. The victim stated to officers that he was at a location in Accokeek, MD to conduct business with Wilson when they became engaged in a physical altercation. According to the victim, Wilson is alleged to have pulled out a sharp object and began stabbing the victim, who was able to transport himself to a hospital and treated for his injuries.


 


On September 24th, deputies went to the address in Accokeek, MD. When deputies knocked on the door a female, identified as Wilson, answered. Deputies served Wilson the warrant, placed her into custody, and  safely transported her to the Prince George's County Department of Corrections in Upper Marlboro, MD, without incident.    


 


Wilson is also charged with Second Degree Assault and Reckless Endangerment.
